Ruby Seale's Obituary
Ruby Nell Seale passed away May 14th, 2023. Ruby was a devoted wife, loyal friend,
and loving mother. She is survived by her son, Lamar Seale and wife Terry, daughter,
Suzanne Knowles and husband James, daughter-in-law Roxanne Seale and six
grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her
husband, Gene and her son, Keith Seale.
Ruby was born on April 8, 1931 to George and Ruby Barclay in Batson, Texas. After
marrying Gene Seale in 1951, Ruby worked in the Memorial Student Center at Texas
A&M while Gene pursued his degree in Mechanical Engineering. After Gene’s
graduation, Ruby and Gene lived in Venezuela for seven years before moving to the
Lake Highlands area in Dallas in 1960. Ruby enjoyed a career in real estate and
owned an antique booth for many years. Her greatest pleasures were tennis, bridge,
and spending time with her neighbors and family. Ruby was active in Lake Highlands
United Methodist Church where she and her husband did volunteer work and enjoyed
the fellowship with Boy Scout Troop 890 family.
Services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2:00pm at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, 9015 Plano Road, Dallas, Texas 75238.
