Ruby Wachel's Obituary
WACHEL, RUBY Born at home on March 12, 1938 in Clifton, TX and went to heaven on January 2, 2013 in Richardson, TX. Ruby was an active member of her Sunday School class at Hunters Glen Baptist Church, Plano, TX as well as a regular participant in game day at Plano Senior Center. She made sure her children were taught the Bible through her actions and words. Through the years supporting her children she has been active in Stults Road PTA, Boy Scouts Troop 573, and Girl Scouts. Ruby is survived by her husband, Willie (Bill) Wachel, son William (Bill) Wachel, son James Wachel and wife Melissa, and daughter Martha Bilbrey and husband Rick. Memaw to her seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Oden and husband Kevin, Katie Bilbrey, Meredith Wachel, Dalton Wachel, Andrew Bilbrey, Madison Wachel, and Sawyer Wachel. Brothers, Elvin Geisselbrecht and wife Sonja, Rolfe Geisselbrecht and wife Carol and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her infant son George and parents, Carl (Pat) Geisselbrecht and Millie Geisselbrecht. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 4-6pm at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be on January 5, 2013 at 2:30pm at Restland Memorial Chapel with burial to follow. “Her children called her blessed and her husband also.” (Proverbs 31:28)
