Rudolph Alexis Cedillo's Obituary
Rudolph Alexis “Lex Luther” Cedillo, 31 years old entered the world on January 1, 1983 and passed to eternal life November 19, 2014. He was born to Rudolph Cedillo Jr. and Julia Gonzales Cedillo. He was a loving and caring son, brother, grandson, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend. Alexis is survived by his father Rudolph Cedillo Jr., mother Julia Gonzales Cedillo, sister and brother-in-law Denise Cedillo-Loa and Ricardo Loa, sister Monica Cedillo, nephew Roman Cedillo, niece Candace and husband Cody Colombrito, niece Cassie and husband Nick Janway, great-nieces Sofia Grace Cedillo and Addison Lanae Janway, along with numerous cousins and close family friends. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Virgina and Margarito Castro, paternal grandparents Rudolfo and Sofia Cedillo, Uncle Jesse Cedillo, Aunt Helen Davila Cedillo, and Aunt Helen Cedillo Alcorta. Alexis was very proud of being from Miller St., he grew up on the M Streets of Dallas and attended North Dallas High School. Known as the jack-of-all trades, he could fix your plumbing, tile your bathroom, and mount your TV without expecting anything in return. Alexis was a kind spirit that will be forever missed. His generous nature was illuminated through the numerous selfless things that he would do for his family. He took pride in caring for his grandma Sofia and learning to cook from his Aunt Helen. Children gravitated to his playful nature and innocent heart. Alexis’ love of music knew no boundaries and he wasn’t shy to sing his heart out. We will forever remember Lex through our laughter, through our hugs, and through the endless memories we created together. We love you Alexis. The viewing will be held at Restland Funeral Home 13305 Greenville Ave Dallas, TX 75243 on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. A remembrance will be conducted between 4:30 to 6:00 pm, we ask our guests to come and share their memories in commemoration of Alexis. Please wear Dallas Cowboys or Dallas Mavericks attire. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014, from 11:00 am to 1:00pm in normal funeral attire. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
