Russell Newton Barker, 74, of Quinlan, TX died February 28, 2021 in Rowelett, TX. He was born April 28, 1946, to Claude and Ruth Barker in Dallas, TX.
He was a AT&T/ Lucent Technologies, Telephone Technician 37 years. He also served in the Navy.
He is survived by daughter Stacy Emerson and husband Jerry of Quinlan, TX, Daughter in law Deidre Barker and fiancé Robert McKenzie of Quinlan, TX, Son Clint Barker and wife Lisa of Forney, TX, two sisters; Claudia Gregory of Winder, GA and Beverly Mcgill of Quinlan, TX, 6 grandchildren; Ryan Barker, Kelsey Barker, Logan Holliday, Kennedy Barker, Brandon Barker and Lana Holliday.
H is preceded in death by wife, Judith Barker and son Scott Barker.
A Funeral Service for Russell will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas, TX. Visitation will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 12:00-3:00pm at Restland Funeral home.
