Russell Cain Walker's Obituary
Walker, Russell Cain was born on January 12, 1924 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on May 11, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Katie Walker and his wife of 53 years, Frankie. Russell graduated from North Texas State University with a Masters in Chemistry. He worked for Anderson-Clayton Foods (now Kraft foods) for 35 years before retiring in 1988. Russell was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Plano. He was also a member of the American Chemical Society, American Oil Chemist Society, American Society for Quality Control and the Masonic lodge for 69 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by those he leaves behind. Russell is survived by his daughters, Janis Martin and husband, Joe and Sharon Abbott and husband, Ira; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many other loving relatives and friends. Service will be at 12:30 PM on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, with visitation one hour prior.
