I delivered Meals On Wheels to Ruth every Wednesday. We always had interesting and long conversations about family, traveling, fishing, Bible and Church. I know that Ruth was a Christian and that she is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven. She was a great lady and my friend. I will always remember her.
I loved delivering MOW to this lovely lady every Thursday. She always knew who was coming in the door and would hurry and get up to say hello. Only recently would she stay seated because she knew we would come and talk for a bit. She loved telling about how her family would come over on Wednesday nights and bring a meal and catch up.She was always positive and would bring a smile to your face.
I am another Meals on Wheels friend of Ruth, and will miss her so much! She was always glad to see us and interested in what we'd been doing–trips, etc., and shared some about her trips years ago "when she was able". She was proud of her grandchildren and sometimes had news about them. A lovely lady! Jane Griggs
