Ruth Arlee Bryan's Obituary
Ms. Ruth Arlee Bryan, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019, in Rockwall, Texas. She was born on Saturday, March 24, 1928 Arthur Pelham and Jessie Pelham in Mabank, Texas. Ruth married James P. Bryan on August 15, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. She was a clerk for City of Garland and a secretary for Industrial Woodworking in Garland, Texas. Ruth was a member at New Liberty Baptist Church in Garland, Texas. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, reading, telling stories from her youth. Ruth will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, and a strong woman who believed in the importance of faith, family, and hard work.She is survived by her daughter, Jenny Wells; son Jim Bryan and wife Ann Bryan; and grandson, Matthew Bryan of Rockwall, Texas. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, James Bryan; her parents, Arthur and Jessie Pelham; her three brothers and eight sisters; and her grandson, Clayton Bryan.Visitation for Ms. Ruth Arlee Bryan will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home.
