Ruth Irma Buttgen's Obituary
BUTTGEN, RUTH IRMA, Born August 14, 1917 in Davenport, Iowa to Helen and Herman Uhde. Passed away June 13, 2008 in Kerrville, Texas at the age of 90. She is proceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Glenn, five years ago. Also by her parents, three sisters, and one brother. She lived in the White Rock area of Dallas for 50 years. She was active in the original Casa Linda Presbyterian Church and later East Minister Presbyterian Church. She participated in the garden club, bridge club, and enjoyed eqqerey as a hobby. She is survived by one brother Norman Uhde, two sons, Jim and wife Pat of Rockwall, Dan and wife Kim of Hunt, TX. Grandchildren Jeff and Kim Buttgen of Midlothian, Jennifer and David Crow of Round Rock, Amy and Dr. John Hairston of Bellaire, TX, Ray Buttgen of Hunt, TX. Great grandchildren, Connor, Colton, Logan, Aubrey, Jack and Ella. Graveside service will Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Restland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Church Street Station, P.O. Box 780, New York, New York 10008-0780 or a charity of your choice.
