Mrs. Ruth M. Clayton, age 91, of Lone Oak, Texas, passed away on November 6, 2021. She was born to Chester and Cecile McBride on December 26, 1929 in Memphis, Tennessee. Ruth leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
Ruth was preceded in death by her Husband, Carl E. Clayton, Jr. and her Son, David Lee Clayton. She is survived by her Son, Mark Clayton, Daughter Deborah Reed; Grand-Daughters, Trudi Maple and Hayley Vickers; Grand-Sons, Colin Clayton, Kyle Clayton, Eric Reed, Jr., and Austin Griffis. Also by her Great-Grandchildren, Holly Griffis, Lincoln Vickers, Theo Vickers, Corinne Vickers, Libby Griffis and Lily Clayton.
Services will be held Sunday, November 14, starting at 10:00am in Wildwood Chapel with the Visitation on Saturday, November 13 from 3:00 - 6:00pm in Restland Funeral Home. The burial will follow the Services on Sunday.
