Ruth Collins was born on January 6, 1935 in Rogers, Texas and passed away on April 23, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by Robert Collins and Angie Tardy. Survived by June Capshaw Russell, Lissa Alexander, Bob Collins, Jeff Collins, and 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ruth was an amazing mother, rock star grandmother, great friend and life of the party. Rest in peace Gammy. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1 PM at The Branch Church/ Farmers Branch Campus located at 3035 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, 2222 Welborn Street, Dallas, Texas 75219. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park. 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
