Ruth LaNelle Davis' Obituary
Davis, Ruth LaNelle ~ (nee: Ruth LaNelle Williams) was born in Hainesville, Texas on March 10, 1933 and passed away on February 11, 2011 in Garland. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson HS and lived and worked primarily in Dallas and Garland most of her life. For many years she was the corporate office manager for a speciality furniture manufacturer and distributer and during her last 10 working years was an executive secretary at E-Systems in Garland. During this latter time, she met and married her husband, Donald Davis, and they lived happily for 30 years until her passing. In addition to her husband, LaNelle is survived by a son Charles M. Kidd of Dallas: a sister Rose Melton of Hainesville: a brother Johnny Williams of Lewisville and a host of cousins and several nieces. Preceding her in death was her oldest son, Robert Shepherd Kidd of Dallas: her mother Hazel Logue Williams: her father Herman Williams of Hainesville and many aunts and uncles.
