Born August 2, 1917, in Dallas, Texas and passed away April 5, 2017, in Dallas, Texas Preceded in death by parents, Lyle H. and Lillie Fisher Mannan; husband, John Law; sister, Dorothy Mannan LaFoy. Survived by niece, Annette Underwood of Hillsboro,Texas; nephews, Joe C. LaFoy, Jr and wife Harriett of New Braunfels, Texas; Jon M. LaFoy and wife, Sylvia LaFoy of Frisco, Texas; Robert Law and wife Sandra of Pensacola, Florida; and great nieces and nephews, Michael, Brian, Karen, Benjamin, Jennifer, Robbie and Megan. Ruth graduated Woodrow Wilson High School, Dallas, Texas 1935; B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Texas Tech University 1939; She taught 1st grade in the Jackson, Mississippi area school districts for 30 years; retired to Dallas and enjoyed friends and family for twenty years at Presbyterian Village North, Dallas, Texas for twenty years. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 2:00 PM at Presbyterian Village North in Joyce Hall Library, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, Texas 75243. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Presbyterian Village North Caring Fund, 8600 Skyline Drive, Dallas, Texas 75243.
