Later in her career, she settled into the role of a Registered Nurse being licensed and practicing the balance of her life. Ruth was an active member of the Northwood Women's Club, Dallas Kiwi Club, Quilting Club, and Bridge Club and was also the Wedding Coordinator for St. Barnabas Church, Richardson for a number of years. For a period of time, Ruth was an accomplished artist in both sculpture and oil mediums. She enjoyed Tai Chi, travel and was an avid gin rummy player – especially with her special companion Reid. She was always memorable to anyone who crossed paths with her.

The service will also be streamed (and available for future viewing): https://saintb.online.church/ . A special thanks to Elizabeth Kisio and Rose as well as the Allstar Hospice team who all made her final days comfortable and peaceful. All very special people. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Barnabas Church (Richardson) or Scottish Rite for Children (Dallas).
