I just saw this announcement and I’m sorry to hear. Ruth was a dear sweet lady. I was friends with her oldest son, Trey. I’m sure we drove her nuts, but she was always kind to me. My heart goes out to the family.

I first met Ruth at the Denton Senior Center Chorus in 2016, when I joined the group. She was such a kind, sweet lady and a joy to know. We will sorely miss her beautiful smile and spirit and her sweet voice but we’ll see her again some day in the heavenly chorus and there is no sickness there. That is a comfort to know.

I'll cherish the Christmas card that Ruthie sent me this last Christmas. She was my dearest friend and will be deeply missed.
