I'm just thanking and praising God for the life and service of your beautiful mother. She was such an inspiration and truly a blessing to so many people, including me. I will always remember her grace, elegance, kindness, calm demeanor and outstanding diction and intellect. What a wonderful role model she was! Thank God for the time that he allowed her to be here with us. May she rest in his peace.

Ruth James took me into her compassionate care in 1968, when she was the school nurse and I was a sophomore at Proviso East high school (PEHS). Ruth has has always been warm, kind and loving.
Ruth, like her Biblical namesake, is the epitome of steadfast love loyalty and redemption.
She was a busy working mother raising three children with her husband, Clarence; yet she made time to embrace many students setting an example of excellence.
I am fortunate to know her and grateful for her warmth and kindness.
I pray that wonderful memories of Ruth James sustain all who grieve her passing; honoring her earthly life while celebrating her passing into Glory.
I am forever thankful for her mentorship, guidance, friendship and love. Thank you Cheryl, Debra and Bruce for sharing your marvelous mother.
