Ruth Jeanette Martin's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Jeanette Martin, age 96 of Coppell, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. She was born on August 2 1925 in Plant City, FL to Harold and Ethel Williams.
She was a cosmetologist at the prestigious hospital called the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT for over 30 years. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband Jerome Martin, son Jerome Williams, sister Minnie Lawson and brothers Wilbert, Harold and Charles Williams.
She is survived by daughters, Gail Brooks (Perry Brooks) of Windsor, CT, Pamela Kennedy and husband Edward of Coppell, TX, Laurie Martin of Glastonbury, CT, Carolyn Williams of Atlanta, GA and Cassandra Martin of Coppell, TX. Granddaughters, Leah Wood, Aminitah Camara and April Jackson; grandsons, Gary Martin, Stanley Lawson, Raphael Lopez, Waiyaaki Manselle, Essau Camara, Jeremiah and Joshua Williams and Thomas and Jason Kennedy. She also leaves 26 beloved great grandchildren.
She was a devoted member of the Bahai Faith.
Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2:00pm.
