Ruth Margarita Tafur de Macchi Born October 10, 1931 in Barranquilla, Colombia and passed away November 30, 2017 in Dallas, TX.Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Eduardo Tafur; father, Juan Carlos Macchi; mother, Olga Macchi de Marino; sisters, Rosalba Macchi, Olga Tovar de Macchi, Stella Macchi, Ana Georgina Macchi, and brother, Juan Carlos Macchi.Ruth is survived by her son, Pedro Augustin Donado de Macchi and his wife, Gladys Angel de Donado; daughter, Ruth Luisa Tafur-Watson de Macchi and husband, Greg Watson; two granddaughters, Chloé Watson and husband, Phil Simmons, and Sage Watson; Ruth Margarita’s youngest daughter, Monica Tafur-Everett and two grandchildren, Phoenix and Juniper Everett. and siblings, Rina Carroll de Macchi, Rodolfo Macchi, Eleonora Macchi and Irina Macchi.Family will receive friends on December 7, 2017 prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel.Service will be held on December 7, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood ChapelIn Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
