Ruth Elaine Willis' Obituary
Born in Richardson to Homer W. and Geraldine Wallis on April 22, 1925. She passed away on May 19, 2007. A direct descendent of John and Elizabeth Huffhines and a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Richardson. Ruth cofounded and owned Willis Medical Company and supplied the Dallas Cowboys for 27 years. She was active in the Goldenaires and Internationals. Ruth graduated Valedictorian from Richardson High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. “Jay” Willis, Jr. Survived by all three children, son Ron E. Willis, son Chris E. Willis and wife Charlotte, and their children, Chad A. Willis, Cody Willis Gelbert and husband Chris Gelbert, daughter, Elaine Willis Larriviere and husband Rob, and their five children, Justin, Jessica, Jaime, Jennifer, and Janea, and two brothers, George Wallis, and Gerald Wallis and wife Maxine, and many more relatives and friends.
