Ruthie Pike Brown's Obituary
Ruthie D. Pike Brown, age 95 of Dallas, Tx passed away peacefully on September 19. 2017 Ruthie was born in Bullard, Texas on September 6. 1922 to Walter J and Minnie Victoria Pike. She married Lewis Monroe Brown January 10. 1947. They had two children. Lewis and Ruthie joined Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church as charter members in 1956, Ruthie greatly enjoyed traveling, sewing, crocheting, and reading but her greatest joy was in her family and friends. She is survived by her son Lewis Craig Brown, daughter Patricia Lynn Brown, sister Betty Jo Smith, brother Billy Mac Pike and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis, brother Walter Lee Pike and sister Barbara Jeanette Owens. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation in The Abbey Chapel at 2:00 PM followed by a service at 3:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.
