Ruthie "Ruth" Lorene Russell's Obituary
Ruthie “Ruth” Lorene Russell, 89 years old and of the Rockwall and Garland, Texas area passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 17, 2019 at 11:30pm.Ruth was born October 10, 1929, to Hamilton Pettes and Stella Gertrude Crawford in Rockwall, Texas. She married Joe Bailey Russell on July 5, 1947 and together they were married for 60 years. Ruth was a housewife and raised her two sons in Garland.Ruth was proceeded in death by her husband Joe Bailey Russell in December 2007.She is survived by: her sons Larry Joe and Ronnie Gene Russell of Florida; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and her brothers Joe Pat, Billy Ray and Kenneth Leo Crawford, all of the Rockwall area.Ruth’s final services will be held in Dallas at Restland Funeral Home on Friday, March 22nd at 3pm in the Wildwood Chapel.
