S M Whitaker's Obituary
Born March 13, 1915 in McLennan County, TX to parents Sol and Montie Whitaker. S M passed away September 22, 2011 in Dallas, TX. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a diesel mechanic for 54 and a half years. He was a long time member and deacon for well over 60 years at Mount Horeb Missionary Baptist church. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Tatum; sister, Virtlee Wydermyer; and brother, James R. Whitaker. S M is survived by his wife of over 75 years, Harriet Whitaker; daughter, Jacqueline Tatum; 5 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. .
