Sabrina Dyan May's Obituary
May, Sabrina Dyan of Garland, TX was born on April 26, 1967 and ran through the gates of Heaven to embrace her Heavenly Father on June 10, 2010. She was awaiting a lung transplant at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, but no donor lungs became available during her 9 month hospitalization. Sabrina was a graduate of North Garland High School and Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Her love of sports kept her a devoted Red Raider fan until the end. She was a long-time employee of Western Union and a member of First Baptist Church – Garland, TX. She is survived by her parents Roy and Shirley May of Garland; her brother and sister-in-law David and Debbie May; Niece Amanda Nichols, her husband Shane, and their children Kobe, Ky’Lee and Kallen; Niece Alli Brumley, her husband Bryan, and their daughter Emma, and Nieces Ana May and Abbey May – all of Winnsboro; her Aunt Ethel Johns and husband Frank along with many friends and family who loved her very much. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 13 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. The Funeral Service will be Monday, June 14 in the main Sanctuary at First Baptist Church – Garland. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
