Sachiko Majure's Obituary
Sachiko Fujino Majure, 80, of Richardson, Texas, peacefully passed away in her sleep at home on Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born March 14, 1942 to Kisuke and Tsume Fujino in Nagano, Japan. She fell in love and married her beloved Robert Stanley Majure in 1965 in Sasebo, Japan, where he was stationed in the United States Navy.
Upon, Roberts passing she bravely moved her children William and Tami from Japan to Meridian, MS and later settled in Dallas, TX, where she co founded and served as Vice President of Hikari Corporation. Sachiko contributed her strong business expertise and leadership in the electronics industry for over 30 years and helped many people excel in this area due to her strong mentorship.
She was highly involved in her church, Japanese Baptist Church of North Texas, where she generously volunteered her time in accounting and used her love of art to create beautiful floral arrangements for the sanctuary each week.
Sachiko enjoyed cooking, sewing, hand quilting and crocheting. She was an avid gardener and maintained exquisite foliage often sharing plants with friends and family.
Sachiko enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren, Cameron, Britton and Courtney, especially if she was cheering them on in the activities they loved.
Sachiko was preceded in death by her partner; her beloved Husband Robert Stanley Majure,sisters Momoko and Miyoko (Fujino); and her brother Juinichi Fujino. She is survived by her sister Chiyoko Tada of Tokyo, Japan. As well as her and Robert’s children: William Ray Majure and wife Ronda Woods Majure of Keller, Texas, and Tami Ann and husband Franklin Adam McClain of Dallas, Texas; three cherished grandchildren: Cameron Avery Majure and Britton Alan Majure of Fort Worth Texas, and Courtney Alexis McClain of Dallas, Texas.
Sachiko was a kind ,joyful, strong, resilient, and selfless woman of great faith and deep love. She and her ever present smile will be greatly missed by all.
After a memorial service in Dallas, TX at Restland Funeral Home on January, 21, 2023, Sachiko will later be laid to rest In Newton, MS beside her beloved Robert Majure.
