Sally Burton Haltom's Obituary
Sally was finally able to go home to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2008 in McKinney, Texas. She fought a short but spirited battle with cancer, and she won. Born January 15, 1934 in Tyler, Texas, she is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edward O. Haltom, Jr. Her family thanks God for her life, and for the example she set as the ultimate wife, mother, and grandmother. Her priorities in life were to honor God and care for her family. We were blessed by her dedication and love. She is survived by 3 sons, Phillip L. Haltom and wife Allison; Keith B. Haltom and wife Denise; Christopher C. Haltom and wife Lynda. She is also survived by grandchildren Phillip, Jr., Victoria, Rebecca, Caroline, Stephen, Matthew, Ryan, Joel and Catherine. The memorial service will be 2:00PM, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Grace Bible Church, 11306 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas 75229, Andy Wileman officiating. Memorials may be made to the 12th Man Foundation, Texas A&M University, 979-846-6734. The family would like to thank Baybrooke Village in McKinney for their loving care of Sally.
