Sam is my Dad… So many happy memories we had together as a family. He was quite the practical joker and had a very witty sense of humor. We laughed so much together. There are so many happy memories. He loved everyone and everyone loved him as well. He was my cheerleader in life. He always found the positive in an experience and guided me to live my life to help others, jus as he did. He was an aide at Trinity High School for a time. He loved working with the special ed kids. He had a special talent for communicating with youth, whether it was through Trojan talk, substitute teaching, or teaching classes at church. He was active in the scouting program, and also coched little league baseball for the community. He sang in choirs at church and played the trumpet. I can still remember him playing Braum's Lullabye on his trumpet. He would hold me in his arms and sing me to sleep when I was a little girl. This ol' man was his song of choice for me. He called me Bo Peep… And BoBo… And JoJo. His generosity was one of his best qualities. He would give someone his last dollar of they needed it. I will miss this loving man with every beat of my heart. I love you, Daddy.
