Sam Dwane Stephenson's Obituary
STEPHENSON, SAM DWANE, Born July 13, 1954 in Roswell, New Mexico and passed away May 8, 2007 in Plano, Texas. Sam was a loving father, grandfather, son, and friend. He was an active member in his church and a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association. Sam retired from Verizon after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, DianaLee Stephenson; sons, Matt Stephenson, and Michael Calderon, and wife Kathy; mother, Lucille Stephenson; sister, Jane Burks and husband Bill; four grandchildren, Aaron Calderon, Jamie Calderon, Knute Long, and Brandon Stroker; and, great-grandson, Aiden Stroker. Preceded in death by daughter, Candice Long and father Kermit V Stephenson. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2242 W Lucas Road, Lucas TX. Interment will be at Restland Memorial Park.
