Mrs. Sandra Helen Young's Obituary
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and teacher, passed away August 2nd, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband and soul mate for 49 years, Robert Young, brother Mark Wilson and wife Nani, children Misty Kent and husband Ron, Robert and wife Sandra, Joshua and wife Lisa, and Robbie, her beloved dog. Sandy, known as “Memo” to her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, was born December 6th, 1941, to Frances and Jimmy Wilson. She spent her whole life as a Dallas resident and was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church. Sandy was adored by the preschool students she taught for 30 years, and her natural beauty and inherent star quality led her to grace numerous stages, from assisting in her brother’s magic shows to performing in skits for the local Elk’s Lodge. She will be remembered by her family and countless friends for having the warmth and compassion of a saint, and the spirit and strength of a soldier. She was an angel on Earth, and now she is an angel in Heaven.
