Sanky McKee Yant's Obituary
Sanky McKee Yant (51) passed away on June 14, 2026, at his home in Dallas, Texas. His funeral will take place at the Wildwood Chapel at Restland on July 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m, with a visitation beginning one hour prior at 1:00 p.m.
Born in Thailand on October 15, 1974, Sanky was a quiet soul who gently loved everyone around him. After graduating from high school, he worked for his father's restaurants until he became disabled. He spent twelve years in an assisted living facility, dutifully helping his elderly neighbors. His favorite hobbies included playing every generation of game consoles and watching anime before it went mainstream. He often led his online team, and they marveled at his skillfulness, to which he would jokingly reply, "I thought you knew!" Sanky was sentimental in naming animal characters in the video games after real-life pets.
Sanky was preceded by his mother, Sue, and is survived by his father, McKee, sister Shawna, stepmother Maxine, her son Brent, and his wife, Jennifer.
