Saphan Y. Hayes' Obituary
Saphan Young Hayes was born on August 6, 1943, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She was married to Lim Hayes and they both had five surviving children with one deceased: Vasoka, Nul (deceased), Makavan, Malyvan, Sokholl, and Manita. In 1986, the family came to the United States and settled in Carrollton, Texas. Saphan and Lim Hayes were CFB ISD employees and worked as the school custodians until they retired. They worked hard to support their kids to ensure they can have a better life and opportunity. Unfortunately, her husband had passed away on May 4, 2011. Although her other half was missing, she had full support from her children and grandchildren. She loves to spend time with family and travel together. She was strong and fought hard for her family through thick and thin. Throughout her sickness, she remained strong and resilient and allowed her family to enjoy spending valuable time with her. On November 12, 2022 at 4:00pm, she left us to be with her husband, daughter, brother, and sister along with her parents. She passed away surrounded by her children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends who loved her dearly.
