Sara Sue Thompson, 71, of Duncanville, Texas, passed away June 2, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. She was born October 16, 1947 to George and Sara Miller in McKinney, Texas.Sara married Jimmy Thompson on June 24, 1966 in Dallas, Texas. She worked for the Duncanville Police Department from 1980 – 2010, where she retired from after many dedicated years of service.Sara is preceded in death by her, father George Miller and mother Sara Miller.Sara is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Jimmy Thompson, daughters; Tamara Lynn Davis and husband, Paul Davis, and Tanya Leigh Laningham and husband, Stephen Laningham, sister Beckie Price, brother, Mark Miller, and one grandchild.Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Park, Garden of Devotion.
