Sarah Jane Allison's Obituary
ALLISON, SARAH JANE BUCHANAN nee Sarah Jane Buchanan, was born June 16, 1930 and passed on May 25, 2012 in Mesa, Az. She was known as “Sally” to those close to her. She survived three husbands and is survived by two daughters, 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her parents were Robert Edgar Buchanan and Mary Lucille Moudy. Sarah survived one brother, Amos Francis Buchanan of Greenville, and is survived by several nieces and nephews. Sally grew up in Greenville, TX, graduated high school, attended East Texas State University for one year, married in Greenville to Carroll T. Rabb, and moved to Arizona. She returned with two children and eventually took a Job with Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX. She remarried in 1965 to Leslie K. Harless of Dallas, whom she survived in 1972. Sally retired from TI after 25 yrs., along with her third husband, Charles Edward Allison. They lived 12 years in Richardson, TX and he passed in 1996. She had been living the last 2 yrs. in Arizona with a daughter and her family. Sally was a loving, generous, vibrant, funny personality, who will be sorely missed. She loved God and Our Country and supported numerous organizations such as Wounded Warriors and The Boy Scouts of America. She was a blessing in the lives of her grandchildren, who knew her as MiMi, as she shared her Christian faith and encouraged them in every way. Her love and devotion to them was limitless. Funeral and interment is at Restland, Cemetery at 9220 Restland Road, Dallas TX, directions can be found on the website: http:/www.restland funeralhome.com. Visitation will be the hour prior to the service at 10:00am at the Wildwood Chapel on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors, Boys Scouts of America or American Indian Relief Council.
