Sarah Elizabeth Hutson's Obituary
Hutson, Sarah Elizabeth known to her friends as “Sally” and to family as “Ganny” died on March 10, 2014. She was born January 14, 1913 in Connecticut to Paul and Philomenia Anthony. She was widowed from Delmont Pace who was killed in World War II on the submarine, the Runner. In 1947, she married Doyle Jack Hutson who was stationed in New London, Connecticut. Because Jack was in the Navy, they traveled extensively and relocated many times. Upon retirement, they settled in Garland. Sally was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her role as homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jack, son Dennis and grandson Rick Skarup. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Skarup and husband, Richard, Jackie Hutson Watkins and husband, Jerry; grandsons, Ty Lowry and wife, Crystal, Jason Lowry and wife, Kris and Kevin Sterne; granddaughter, Gayle and great granddaughters, Lisa, Missy, Christiane and youngest, Rachel; and great-great grandchildren, Patricia, Rick, D.J., and Briana. A private service will be held on March 13, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: First Presbyterian Church 930 W. Ave B Garland, Tx. 75040
