Scott Douglas Carroll was born August 15th, 1979 in Normal, IL and passed away May 4th, 2017 in Allen, TX. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Carroll, grandfather, Mel Wittenborn; and his aunt, Lauren Carroll. Survived by his wife, Katherine Carroll; his daughter, Rylie and son, Jack; parents, Doug and Julie Carroll; sister, Kellie Carroll; parents-in-law, Terry and Karen Sampson; sister-in-law; and brother-in-law, Anna and Paul; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stone and Hilary as well as aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and a large and loving extended family. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9th, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. Service will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Rita Catholic Community, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities of Dallas. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
