Jason Allen
I worked with Scott at Terra-Mar from 1998 to 2003, and then at STL from 2007 to 2012.
We worked very closely at STL and enjoyed spending lunch together almost daily, sharing life stories and jokes.
Scott held a high standard for meeting specifications and had to make the tough call on projects informing them if they were not, sometimes upsetting people, even sport complexes that didn't listen to him when he said to put drains in.
He often spoke about retiring to a home they were building in Thailand and having a fish farm. Guess that didn't get to happen.
One lunch at Luby's the cashier started speaking to Scott in Thai, and he carried on a conversation with her. I asked how she knew he spoke Thai, and he said it was the gold Thai necklace he was wearing.
Hope you find eternal rest and peace.
