Scott Ragsdale's Obituary
After being overexposed to Kryptonite, Scott Ragsdale passed away on May 24, 2018, unexpectedly, while training to catch bad guys. He was 41. Scott was special in more ways than one. He was a respected Special Agent with the ATF where he fought for truth, justice, and the American way. He was a devoted husband and father who loved his wife, Erin, and his children, Aidan and Riley, in a way that could not be defeated even by the most powerful super villains. Scott was known for his encyclopedic knowledge of movie quotes, 80’s music, WWE wrestling super-stars, Star Wars, and comic book super heroes. Scott’s most incredible super power was his sense of humor. He was faster than a speeding bullet with quick-witted retorts or perfectly timed one-liners that only he could deliver. If your DVR was full of random subtitled movies, if your official ATF picture was replaced with a Facebook picture of you at the dentist, if there were toy plastic spiders in your sock drawer, Scott did it. And we loved him for it.Scott was taken from us way too early from a heart attack, but his huge heart and spirit lives on through his family. Scott is survived by his mother and father Patti and Roy Ragsdale, his sister Kelly Novikoff and husband Lee and her two children Denton and Piper Poss, a boatload of aunts, uncles, cousins and his wife Erin and his two children Aidan and Riley who will assemble and lead a group of the world’s most powerful heroes to avenge his death.Services for Scott are as follows:Sunday, June 3rd, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., a viewing and Rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 1305 Damascus Road, Rockwall, Texas, 75087.Monday, June 4th, 2018, funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Pointe Church, 701 East I-30, Rockwall, Texas, 75087.
