Scott Thompson's Obituary
Scott Thompson, 52, was born on January 26, 1966 the youngest of five children to parents Ellen Jane McGuire and Kenneth Raymond Thompson in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on February 19, 2018 in Coppell, Texas. Scott was preceded in death by his father Kenneth in 2011. He is survived by his wife Trish Adair Thompson and his mother Ellen Thompson both of Plano; son Brennen Thompson and partner Randy Smotone of Dallas; nieces Kristen and her husband Troy Hall and daughter Rynn of Frisco and Sarah and her husband Justin Cary and children Jack and Chloe of Little Elm; sisters Linda Kay and husband Dick Goss of Leander, TX, Joyce and husband Chuck Martin of Plano, LeeAnn Thompson of Dallas; brother Larry Thompson and wife Sharon of Houston; and niece Lauren and her husband Risto Flores and son Rhys of Tomball, TX.Scott worked as a Printer Technician for Ricoh and enjoyed weekend get-aways, attending rock and old-school country concerts, and was an avid gun collector. He was a member of the Frisco Gun Club, the NRA, and Grace Presbyterian Church in Plano.Scott will be deeply missed by his family, friends, co-workers and all who knew and loved him.The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Mr. Thompson will be on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:30 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A reception at the family home immediately following.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243.
