Sean Earl Lanham's Obituary
LANHAM, SEAN EARL a loving father and friend to many, passed away on January 29, 2013. He was 57. Sean is survived by his sons, Andrew and Michael, his wife of 20 years, Carol, and his brother, Travis. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Patrick. Sean was born in Fort Worth on October 17, 1955 to Patricia and Travis Lanham. He attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic School and Paschal High School. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. After graduation, Sean returned to Fort Worth where he met Carol in 1981.They married over a decade later in Rome, Italy, and went on to work together in the public relations business. Sean was a dedicated father who coached his sons’ baseball and basketball teams, accompanied them on Indian Guide campouts, and spent countless hours studying, playing catch or just talking with them. His sons were his source of greatest pride and joy. Sean is also survived by his mother-in-law, Maria G. Cirulli; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Maria Cirulli and Giovanni Marinelli, and Lily Wong and Claudio Cirulli; his niece and nephew, Marianna and Filippo Marinelli; many cousins, and countless friends. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas.
