I miss you so much Mikey!
Mikey.... you really made a mark here on earth! ... I only know you through your mom’s words and your family videos...It was just before that last procedure...when you had posted the latest video... I heard your voice, and oh that laughter!... Your mom had invited everyone to think good thoughts and to pray... Your mom and dad just wanted to be able to be comfortable, and to be able to enjoy your life... bc your weak heart was making you sick to your tummy... mom was wanting to help you breathe better... so that you could play longer ... and not have to take breaks so soon!... They did it for the chance of you being able to stay on earth longer... Your mom, dad and sister....you were their world... so everyone was ready to help you through the long healing period... And your baby brother? Well he was too young to understand what was happening at the time... but you were the best big brother... And Brian definitely misses his play buddy...You can bet Mom, dad and your sissy will also tell him Mikey stories...
But that last surgery did not go as planned... yes when you got your wings... your body was healed.....Even still, you left the earth... and I know those that love you are crushed, especially your mom and dad! I am so sorry it ended like that. Your laugh I hear on the videos drew in...I only wish I had gotten the chance to meet you! Continue to watch over your family.... keep reaching out from beyond and visit ....It means the world to your parents!

I read about your little man through Dyan on Facebook. Thank you for sharing him with us. Age does not dictate the impact made on this world. Mikey made a difference in the hearts of those who knew him personally and through those who continue to share his life with us. May God comfort you and remind you in your grief that your son is whole and happy and you will be with him again.
Mikey, I am so sad that I will not get to meet you in July when I visit your family. I know you are the healthiest you have ever been in your life. We sorrow but we have hope because we will see you again in heaven. You truly were a little superman as you dealt with the healthcare challenges in your life always it seems with a smile. You brought so much love and life to everyone that you came into contact with even over the miles. We pray that as you look down upon us and our lives that we don’t cause disappointment to you. I am praying for your family because you are leaving such a large hole in their hearts and their lives. You will be missed by so many. You will never be forgotten. What a legacy to leave behind…a smile that lit up everyone life and encouraged everyone you came into contact with.
