Selma Rodgerson's Obituary
Born April 26, 1919 in Maquoketa, Iowa and died July 9, 2012 in Danbury, TX. Funeral services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Dallas at 11 am on Saturday, July 14, 2012 with burial to follow in Restland Memorial Park. A visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday at Restland Funeral Home. Selma was a resident of Dallas since 1957. She suffered a stroke in 2007 and moved away from the Dallas area to be close to her children. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1957 where she served as the Chairman of the Alter Guild for 25 years and was the wedding coordinator for the church. She was retired from H&R Block in 2001 after 21 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband George Rodgerson. She is survived by her children James Rodgerson and his wife Susan and Rebecca Branch and her husband Steve; grandchildren Eric Branch, Jeffrey Branch, Isaac Rodgerson, Neil Theisen, Melora Bergee, Gary Rodgerson, Brian Rodgerson and Melissa Rodgerson and great grandchildren Kaley Branch and Aiden Theisen.
