I am so sorry to hear of Shannon’s passing. We went through Stonewall, Long, and Woodrow together where we graduated in the Class of 1968. David was in our class all the way through as well. I have many memories of our time growing up at Stonewall, especially. Besides reunions, I saw her when our children were at Woodrow at the same time, and I saw her in the neighborhood-neither of us moved very far. She was such a sweet person. In fact, in my mother’s later years, Shannon came over to visit with her on Mother’s swing on her front porch. She and Mother could reminisce about people and then solve the issues of the day. Shannon was of invaluable help to my mother and to me because I knew someone I knew and trusted was with my mother. You will be missed, Shannon, by so many. God bless the entire family and hold you all very tightly during this time of loss.
