Shannon Gail Straley's Obituary
Shannon Gail Straley, age 55, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1970.
Shannon grew up in Houston and Tyler, Texas, and later made her home in Frisco, Texas, where she lived at the time of her passing. She worked as a paralegal, a role that reflected her intelligence, dedication, and desire to help others.
Shannon was known for her big heart, her kindness, and her loving nature. She had a carefree spirit and a warmth that drew people to her. She cared deeply for those around her and leaves behind many who will miss her presence, laughter, and compassion.
She is survived by her children, Ashtyn Straley and Morgan Straley; her brother, Sean Straley; her sister, Michelle Edson; her aunt, Dianne Vitaska; her cousin, Jim Kite; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Shannon’s life will be held on January 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home.
