After we moved away and would come back to visit the church…..when she would See me she would come running and give me a big hug tell me how much she missed me.Then always wanted to know where my husband was ..She Always spoke to everyone whether she knew them or not Welcoming them to the church …She will be greatly missed .
Sharla, I always enjoyed talking with you and Chris when you were in Dallas and attended New Beginnings. You were such a blessing to everyone. Will see you again dear friend… Chris, you're in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
Indeed Sharla will be missed, but most of all was that big smile and hugs when she runs up to greet you. One memory I had was when I gave her a compliment on her attire, she would twirl around, and hold the end of her dress or skirt and would just be dancing……love to Chris, her mother Ann and her brothers…..it was a great send off today, celebrating her life and her legacy…..❤️❤️
Always a warm hug, a friendly chat, walking around spreading cheer, you would NEVER find Sharla sitting waiting for people to come to her. She sought people out, if you came through our church doors, you encountered Sharla! Such a kind and good spirit. Our lives are richer because of you.We will miss your presence.We love you, but God loved you more. 'Till we meet again.

There was never a more innocent and sweeter heart than our Sharla. Absolutely one of the best volunteers New Beginnings ever had..such a servant heart..everyone was important to her!! She loved her husband dearly and was his best fan!! As Chris has said so many times " We're a package deal..we need each other ".
