Sharon Webster Horton's Obituary
Sharon Webster Horton, age 71, of McKinney Texas, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 10, 1953, in McKinney, Texas, Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Wanda Webster and leaves behind a devoted family who will forever cherish her memory. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ronald
Horton; her sister Jan Webster; her two children, Brian (wife Carissa) and Shannon Horton; and her two beloved grandchildren, Lacey and Olivia Horton.
Known for her nurturing spirit and unwavering support of her family, Sharon had an incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her
caring heart made her the cornerstone of her family’s life.
Throughout her life, Sharon cherished the simple joys — from family gatherings and quiet moments spent with her husband, playing with her grandchildren and enjoying shopping and movies with friends. Her
selflessness, strength, and sense of humor were constants that left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
A private service will be held for immediate family and friends on March 24, 2025, at 2pm at the Wildwood Chapel inside Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to WomenHeart, a charity dedicated to fighting heart disease in women.
Sharon will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Sharon — you were a gift to this world, and your memory will forever shine bright.
