Sharon was born on October 27, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, to Ernest and Bobbie Dillard. Outside of work, she was involved in two bowling leagues, serving as Secretary. In addition to her passion for bowling, she carried on a tradition of making holiday candy and cookies for over 30 years for dozens of friends and family. She would start the annual process in the fall and finish just in time for Christmas. While Sharon was never blessed with children of her own, she helped raise many of her younger relatives and was God Mother to many more.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Don Dillard and his wife, Brenda, of Austin, Texas, her sister, Judy Etheridge and her husband Neal, of Longview, Texas, and her brother, Michael Dillard and his wife, Paula Lopez, of Houston, Texas, as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
