Sharon Marie Stacks' Obituary
Sharon Marie Stacks, 73, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on November 12, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed peacefully at home.
Sharon was born on August 28, 1949 in Waco, Texas and was raised by Vera and Calvin Gregory. She married James Stacks in 1967 and they had three children together. Sharon spent the majority of her life caring for children, including her own, her grandchildren, and even students while she worked as a school bus aide. She will be remembered as a mother figure to many.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents: Vera and Calvin Gregory; husband: James Stacks; daughter: Marsha Hill; and sister: Beverly Grimes.
She is survived by her children: James Stacks Jr. and Amy Stacks; grandchildren: Brandi Carlson, Kayla Thames, Tabitha Stacks, Desiree Stuckey, Lauren Thames, James Stacks III, and Nevaeh Stacks; eight great-grandchildren; sisters: Janet Thornton and Carol Gilmer; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a public visitation on Monday, November 21st from 6-8pm at Restland’s main chapel in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at 2pm at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel in Dallas followed by the graveside service at 3pm.
