Ms. Sharon Berweda Stephenson's Obituary
STEPHENSON, SHARON B. On August 25, 2007 Sharon B. Stephenson closed her big, beautiful earthly eyes and opened them to see gates of pearl and streets of gold. It must be a wonderful sight to see. Her father, Stephen A. Stephenson, Sr. preceded her in death and Shava’s father, Gregory P. Echols. Her only child, Shava Echols; mother, Mayme; siblings, Vicki, Gary, Olivia and Stephen; and a host of family and close friends will always cherish her memory. Sharon was honored and proud to have been an educator in the DISD for 32 years. Her most recent accolade was being recognized by the Who’s Who Among Teachers in 2006. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, August 29th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will begin Thursday, August 30th at 11:00 AM at Christian Chapel Temple of Faith CME, 14120 Noel Rd., Dallas, TX 75040.
