Sharon-Ann Steen Demaske's Obituary
Sharon-Ann Steen Demaske of Kaufman, TX was called home to our Father in Heaven on March 17, 2019. Sharon-Ann was born on February 19, 1952 to Thomas and Sadie Idela Steen both of whom went home already, her father March 1977 and her mother February 1998. Sharon-Ann graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1969 and in May 2002 earned a Bachelor of Science “Cum Laude” from Texas A&M University. After high school graduation she worked for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office until May 1993 when she joined the United States Navy and serviced as a Yeoman Second Class at MAVSUBASE New London, CT receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1977. She worked as a Paralegal for multiple organizations, also serving as the city secretary for the city of Post Oak Bend until her retirement from Legal Aid Services of North Texas. Sharon-Ann is survived by her husband Raymond Demaske, nephews Don Alan Jenkins and Anthony Finney and their families, and her New Hope Southern Baptist Church family. She will be missed by all who knew her for her caring and generous heart; she was a true servant of Christ Jesus.Funeral service will held at Restland’s Abbey Mausoleum Chapel on March 20, 2019 at 12:00 PM, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
