Sheila Carolyn Rolan's Obituary
Mrs. Sheila Carolyn Rolan, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 7, 2019, in Plano, Texas with her family by her side. She was born on November 15, 1947, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Carl Lee Simmons and Lillie Mae Jones in Memphis, Tennessee and later moved to Dallas, Texas where she was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in 1965. Though many years of her life were spent in Dallas, she was a Memphis girl at heart.Mrs. Sheila Carolyn Rolan, Mimi, will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her son Warren Allen Ferrill II, her parents, her loving aunt and uncle Clifford Jones and Marguerite Kittrell, and her mother in law, Florence Mae Rolan. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Rolan, daughters; Amy Coutu and Bobby, Lori McHale and Chris, Ashley Martin and Jack, Sondra Ferrill, her father in law Andrew D. Rolan, and ten grandchildren.Visitation for Ms. Sheila Carolyn Rolan will be held on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243. In lue of flowers, the family is asking for a donation to be made in Sheila’s honor at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or MD Anderson Cancer Hospital.Funeral arrangements for Ms. Sheila Carolyn Rolan have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
