Shelley Johnson's Obituary
Shelley Johnson passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her home in Carrollton, TX after a five year battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was born February 28, 1964 in Ansbach, Germany to Lester Dale and Carolyn Louise (Still) Johnson. She was 54 years of age. She was a loving mother, sister, and daughter. She worked as an accountant for many years and enjoyed owning her own business for the last 6+ years. She loved to go country and western dancing, attend Texas Rangers games, Texas Tech Football games, many concerts, and spend time with family and friends.She leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted son, Austin Wolfenberger of Carrollton, TX; father and step-mother, Dale and Kim Johnson of Saginaw, TX; one sister and brother-in law, Kelley and Tosh Wood of Longview, TX; one brother, Jeff Johnson of Corpus Christi, TX; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.Preceding her in death are her mother, Carolyn Johnson, and step-brother, James Kim.The service for Shelley will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Russell Rogers officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 am. Following the service, there will be a short procession to Restland Memorial Park for a brief committal service in the Garden of Good Shepherd.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in memory of Shelley Johnson.Arrangements are under the care of Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243.
