Shelly was my very best friend for over 40 years. Growing up, we did everything together... we both went to W.T. White in Dallas... and we also worked together, and shared the same church growing up. Some of the best memories of my life were with Shelly! Shelly could always make me smile, laugh and never give up hope. She had a huge heart and even if we didn’t see each other every day or every month anymore, we never lost touch with each other. Shelly was strong!! No matter what obstacles came up in her life she never ever gave up hope. Shelly had so much love to give... and Shellys love was always unconditional!! I feel extremely blessed to have had Shelly in my life and as my very best friend... I thank God that Shelly had Ray too, I know God sent him to her.. she always said that if she could just clone Ray she could make millions!! Tho life sent us in different directions and miles apart from one another, I always had a sense of peace in my heart knowing Ray was taking care of her and loved her with all of his heart! I will always treasure the times that we shared together, the memories I hold close to my heart. And everything Shelly taught me... most of all to never give up hope!! It’s time for you to rest now Shelly... I will miss you soo very very much!! But you are no longer in pain, and you are with your mom and dad once again and I know you are smiling.. you would tell me everything is fine and not to cry or give up hope even at times like this.... so I will go on.. but a piece of my heart will always be with u... I love you Shelly.. always & forever!! 🙏💕
